If you can't ride this one, you may want to start thinking about buying a golf cart! This gal is one solid trail mount - goes where you point her nose - SAFE and REALIABLE! She is VERY cautious with her timid riders (as seen with my 11yo daughter in this video), but even the most advanced rider will enjoy this gorgeous mare. She is safe, safe, safe...a great confidence building horse for a timid rider and gentle teacher for a beginner. She would also be great for someone who rides with non-gaited friends, as she is not too "hot" to "plod along" with her pals, content to walk along enjoying the scenery all day, if desired! She is content to mosey along at ease for as long as you want or can move out swiftly and smoothly and also has a terrific canter, too! She loves to trail ride and is not spooky at all - nothing phases her; speeding cars, noisy dogs, runners, bikers, deer, turkey, running water, etc. She stands perfectly still to mount and dismount and even re-mount! She is happy to ride off by herself or with a large crowd - front, middle or happily bringing up the rear - she does not care! She hauls easy, clips without any trouble, stands tied quietly for hours, loads well and takes to a new environment without stress. Sally is great around traffic and 4 wheelers and has a confident and gentle mind. She is surefooted in any kind of terrain ... |
