A golf course in Colorado is invaded with Elk by the hundreds. I couldn't believe my eyes when I drove past this. These are 100% wild elk that continued to graze into the golf course. The story behind this is that every year the elk come down from the mountains to graze for some period of time. The land surrounding this small town is mostly national forest, and hunting is rather restricted in that area. The population is so high that when they come down from the mountains they are quite concentrated. In this case they wandered right onto a public golf course. Needless to say all golf matches were postponed. I'm sure the groundskeeper had his hands full that week.
